Attack on Titan: The Final Season

Attack on Titan has been one of the most trending anime shows for a long time. It can be described as almost a perfect show starting from the opening song to the end credits. The plot is one of the main reasons for the success of this show as it keeps the viewers engaged.

The twists that have appeared at various points in the story have been mind-blowing and made the fans excited for the final season that is yet to be released. The characters are also certainly not far behind, and they are equally as popular as the anime.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2

It is important to note that the final season of Attack on Titan has been divided into two parts, and the first part has already aired. The ending of part one left the story hanging on a thread, and people have started to speculate on the events of part two and how the story can end. Up Till now, the turns and twists in this story have been received with great excitement from the fans.

But there is a slight rumor from the manga readers that the ending can be a little disappointing. However, it is only speculation at this point, and we can’t be exactly sure if the ending of the anime will be strictly similar to the ending of the manga series. Moreover, everyone has a different perception, so it is quite possible that fans love the ending that will be shown in the anime.

One part of a season can’t be the summary of the entire show, and it is without a doubt that overall, the series is going into the books of the top-rated anime series of all time. There is also evidence present for this with the fact it was temporarily the number one show in MyAnimeList when part one of season 4 was released.

Animation

One of the major highlights of Attack on Titan is its animation. If the animation quality is high, then that will make a name for the anime by itself. Just like we are aware in the case of Demon Slayer, the same is the case for Attack on Titan with its perfectly transitioned scenes and impressive visuals.

If you are going to watch an anime show, its animation can be a tipping point for whether you want to continue with the series or not. Of course, the story is also the main thing to consider, but you will lose interest soon if the animation is not up to your taste. Animation can also play a major role in swaying manga readers to watch the anime all over again.

Otherwise, they don’t have a reason to watch it since they already know the story by reading the manga. This ultimately contributes to the overall viewership in the show that is a major factor in determining whether a series is successful or not.

The production studio of Attack on Titan is MAPPA which is famous for making many popular shows. MAPPA studio has two new big-name anime series that is going to be released in a short amount of time. One is obviously Attack on Titan, and the other one is a new series called Chainsaw Man.

MAPPA has certainly made a name for themselves with high-quality productions, so all eyes will be on them with the upcoming release of these two titles. Moreover, they have been accused recently of a toxic workplace, so they will be looking to remove any such claims with the best quality anime that the fans crave and are eagerly waiting to see.

Characters

As I mentioned before, the characters are also a major reason behind the success of this series. It goes without saying that fans can’t wait to see their favorite characters on screen for one last time. Levi, Mikasa, and Eren are all going to be missed by us regardless of how the story ends. The way Levi’s popularity rose throughout the course of the story has been one to watch.

Each of them has its own unique personality traits, and that’s what makes Attack on Titan so special. Any successful series requires a diverse group of characters, and Hajime Isiyama did not fail to provide us with that. We have grown up watching Mikasa, Eren, and Armin develop into responsible adults. We made our favorites and rooted for them to become the number one character in the story.

This trio had even made some of us nostalgic by making us remember our childhood friend groups when we used to be innocent kids. Although, in their case, it was a bit different since they had to live in constant fear of the titans, which was certainly not the case for any of us.

Plot

Before jumping into discussions about the last season of Attack on Titan, let us take a quick tour of the plot of Attack on Titan and where we left things at the end of part one. As we know, it is very clear from the title that the story revolves around Titans. Humanity has been pushed to a corner, and they have surrounded themselves with a wall to protect themselves from these monstrous creatures called Titans.

Our hero in this story is none other than the energetic kid, Eren Yeager. He has only one aim in his life, and that is to kill every last Titans present. His aim is even more fuelled by an accident that takes away a part of his heart. He always wanted to join the Survey Corps, and now he even got an origin story to do so. Fast forward many years, and our little Eren is now a proud member of the Survey Corps.

Unfortunately for Eren, things don’t go quite exactly as he had planned. He turned into the very thing he detested from the beginning and gave serious Ken Kaneki vibes. This may ultimately turn out to be a blessing in disguise because they need every firepower possible after the second wall was also on the verge of collapsing. Meanwhile, the only key to uncovering the secret of these titans was in the basement of their old house.

His father had safely kept the secret there, and it became a source of extreme curiosity as to what was buried there. Anyways, the discovery was quite shocking, and it certainly had a huge effect on our hero. It affected his personality a lot, and it didn’t take long for him to turn into an anti-hero. This is also where things got interesting, and many other characters were also introduced, having the same power as Eren Yeager.

What To Expect From Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2

The one thing that Attack on Titan always guarantees its fans is thrill and excitement. So, naturally, fans should stop worrying about how the anime is going to turn out and focus on the positive things instead. Also, now we will be entering into major spoiler territory for anyone who hasn’t watched part 1 of the final season. So, explore this part at your own peril. The ending of part 1 of season 4 has been an iconic one indeed.

It is going to go down as one of the badass scenes ever, and interestingly Pieck has hogged all the spotlight in this case. She took Eren away, and when he asked about the location of the enemy, she simply pointed towards it. Just imagine being in her position and enraging a man who literally has three of the strongest Titan powers within himself. As soon as Pieck pointed towards Eren, the ground broke apart, and Gallard tore away his limbs.

Eren was like, “Eh! It’s not a big deal,” and transformed into the Attack Titan. Warships began approaching him, but his attention was focused on Reiner all along. Just like Naruto was obsessed with Sasuke, Eren seems to have a thing for Reiner.

Well, that won’t come as a surprise, considering Reiner was technically responsible for the death of Eren’s mother. Naturally, we can expect that the final part will continue from this part onwards, and we are going to get an epic battle scene. Deaths will also go hand in hand with the final part, and we have to be ready for our favorite characters to die at any time.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Trailer

There is no doubt that MAPPA has done a great job in hyping the fans for the final season with a great trailer. In just one day, MAPPA organized a big event and showed all the three trailers for their upcoming anime. The start of the trailer begins with a bang where we can see Eren talk with a mysterious person about them waiting for over 2000 years for someone to arrive.

Amidst all the speculations, it is most likely that Eren is talking to Ymir in the trailer.

So, it basically means that Eren will somehow find a way to contact Ymir and get more details regarding the origin of Titans. Overall, it was a very short trailer, but it was enough to make the fans excited. Among all the Titan fights that were shown in the trailer, we could also see Levi lying on the ground covered with blood. Naturally, it has been a major cause of concern for all the Levi fans out there but let us be honest; there is no way Levi is going to go down so easily.

Conclusion

The only thing that we can conclude from all this information is that we should embrace the last season of this masterpiece anime and stop worrying about other things.

Attack on Titan will go down in history as one of the best series ever, and nothing can change that fact. Hajime Isiyama has provided us with this masterpiece, and there is nothing that can change that.
