One night, Yuki returns home to find an arrestingly beautiful girl standing outside her apartment building―Tamano, whom she falsely promised to accept as her apprentice during Halloween Night. Now obligated to take her under her wing, Yuki reluctantly begins the process of training Tamano and finds herself growing attached. While this is happening, Yuki reaches out to Rinrin, a retired player who had a successful career as a death game player despite being blind, in the hopes of learning her techniques. Later, Yuki takes on Royal Palace, a game themed around brutal one-on-one sword duels. But with her right eye now completely sightless, will she have any chance of surviving the competition?
