All Japan was left reeling as Kariya carried out his long-planned coup, storming the Diet building and taking the prime minister hostage. With cameras rolling, Kariya then laid out a bold vision for humanity’s evolution and promised a demonstration of his sincerity. What this demonstration will entail is anyone’s guess, but the army isn’t prepared to take any chances.
